How we got food on the brain.

How a digital agency ended up with food on the brain, and why we're never going back.

Chapter 01 · In the internet we trust

The Internet Generation, then the food.

In the internet we trust. From opening up world markets to enlightening young minds, it has been the single best advent of mankind. Whatever we do, there's an element of the internet attached to it: podcasts, open mics, events, digital marketing.

Tigabites is the digital marketing venture of TIG that focuses on sharing the knowledge we've picked up over the years. We've served 30+ brands, and when we looked back we found a pattern: most of our work involved food brands. Be it a nudge from the universe or just genuinely hungry folk, we found our true love in working with food, for food. That's when Tigital became Tigabites.

Over the years we've made mistakes and learnt; we've taken risks and grown. We've worked with all kinds of companies and stakeholders across the organisation. Taking something from a raw idea all the way to a <3 comment is something we know like the back of our hand.

If you share our passion for food, drop a burp and let's scale your business to the level your gut desires.

Chapter 02 · A note from the head chef
Jaytesh · Founder

Hi, I'm Jaytesh. I built TIG on a simple idea: the internet is everything. Marketing was a raw passion for me, owing to my dad running an ad agency and me growing up around brands like Boomer, Cadbury, Nescafe and Lux. Over my life I've watched the internet irreversibly reshape marketing. It was one of those one-way doors. Today a digital presence isn't a luxury for a brand; it's a business requisite.

We experimented with all kinds of brands, staying industry agnostic while the world told us to find a niche and stick to it. Truth be told, I was too early to find one. So we took whatever came our way. Ten years later, looking back, we realised most of our clients had been in food: rice brands, dairy brands, bakeries, gelaterias. The universe had picked the niche for us without us even noticing.

Food. That's the one constant. In an ever-changing, uncertain world, food will never go out of trend or necessity. There's always a need for someone like us to give food the importance it deserves, and we're happy operating within this niche. Saying the first few no's to juicy clients in other industries was hard, but looking back it was the best way forward.

Sometimes the best decisions we make are never really made by us :) If you're a fellow food lover, hit us up; let's whip up some wholesome content.
